How do human beings meet the world and our fellow men? What is inner space and what is our environment? How do we form our surroundings and how do we bring together our inner soul space with the physical world?
Students of the Visual Art School Basel have been researching, drawing and painting around the theme „Human Space.“ In March 2014 they moved their quarters from Basel to „Kunstquartier Bethanien“ in Berlin-Kreuzberg for a 10-day project with a view to widening their insights into the topic. The mixture of cultures and the all-present history of Germany were sources of new inspiration for them. The film gives strong impressions of the various ways in which they worked, how they felt and what thought while working.
